International Rectifier, the El Segundo-based maker of power-management chips for satellites, automobiles and other products, said it has been honored with an award from China.

A performance by the Band On TV at the Madison Women's Expo Saturday night is cancelled.
Alliant Energy Center administration sent out a letter late Friday evening forewarning customers that the Band On TV's 8 PM performance won't be happening.
Tickets purchased with credit card via Ticketmaster's website, Charge-by-Phone, or at the Coliseum Box Office will be automatically refunded.

havent seen star trek, but am not a fan of the series, so i will probably not see it. have not seen the transformers sequel, but the first one really surprised me. i thought it was going to be *****, but it was a pretty damn good movie. have not seen GI Joe, but it did not seem to do so well in the theaters, and Batman Begins as well as The Dark Knight kicked ***** ass.
I was not really a fan of Batman or comics for that matter, but i saw The Dark Knight three times in the theater and another 3 times on DV
